“ 3 bubble tea sans paille, je sais pas quoi dire.... les perles sont restées dans le fond de la bouteille sans qu'on puisse le savourer avec le thé Les ramens très bons, par contre les plats pour le prix, je trouve que les portions étaient vraiment petite. 1 ère commande et je ne pense pas repasser commande ”
“ Positives: The second I walked in I could smell the high quality of the rice- I’m Japanese and grew up on almost exclusively Japanese rice, so I was very excited. We ordered a gyudon and yakitoridon and the rice was amazing. Hot food is made fresh to order, which is great. Just be ready to wait a little. Negatives: Unfortunately, the price is so high and you’re probably paying for the excess amount of high quality rice received rather than the amount of meat- which was also just slightly lacked a bit of flavor. Also ordered some pickled sides which were good, though the takuan was a bit dry and I think perhaps a few days old? Still crunchy, but not as fresh as I’ve had. The store itself is extremely tiny and a bit more expensive than other shops, so I didn’t purchase anything. I may come back to try the ramen, but I’m not in any rush to do so at the moment. ”
“ 2022 review: Following my comment back in 2020 on not getting a real bone broth Yatai now does (I am not sure since when) ! Very happy for this and the ramen tasted great. I also ordered yakisoba and Takoyaki, they are authentic and delicious, will definitely go back again. They have removed all the tables and chairs and replaced those with shelves of Japanese snacks, happy to see that. 2020 review: For a Japanese restaurant in the suburban area of Paris, Yatai delivers good Japanese food and for once it’s not sushi. However as a big ramen fan (with relative long experience of tasting ramen in different countries and of course in Japan itself) I really cannot say the ramen is authentic, the broth doesn’t seem to be real bone broth which is a real pity. Despite that I do have to say that the soft boiled eggs were very delicious. On top of that the price is quite high, if it had been with the dining experience in the restaurant I think it would have justified the price, maybe something to try after the restaurants are once again allowed to be opened to the public. I have also ordered takoyaki, those were very good! Next to food service they also sell Japanese foods like noodles, rice, soy sauce etc and goods like bowls and chopsticks, quite convenient for those living outside of Paris. ”
